The Problem
The introduction of wheeled refuse bins on fortnightly collections has raised many concerns from residents and householders. These concerns are well founded as the condition of many refuse bins will now confirm.
Issues such as foul smells, flies and maggots through to listeria, salmonella, MRSA and the flu bug (some germs can multiply 281 trillion times in 24 hours) can become commonplace unless managed by a regular, disciplined and professional cleaning programme.
Our Wheelie Bin Cleaning Service
Our wheelie bin cleaning service is a completely self-contained, environmentally friendly process. We only use commercially available biodegradable detergents and anti bacterial deodoriser. All washing water is retained and recycled within the machine. Spent water is managed by United Utilities and disposed of into the foul sewer network under concession from the Environment Agency.
We have also successfully demonstrated the washing procedure to West Lancashire District Council and comments are available via their press office.
